Description

The EASYWAY UNIV-HV ST61K is the largest of the three ST models: 61.44 kWh total (57.75 kWh usable) capacity, 8 modules of 7.68 kWh and one control unit (BMS), with a nominal voltage of 614.4 V DC. Eight modules are the limit for one tower and beyond that the system grows by connecting towers in parallel, so the ST61K is meant for heavy-load sites: production, farms with a lot of refrigeration and a power reserve. At a 10 kW load it lasts about 6 hours, and at 15 kW about 4 hours.

Choose the ST61K when the load is large, you need a power reserve and you want 8 modules in one tower. For a smaller site, the EASYWAY UNIV-HV ST46K (6 modules) or the EASYWAY UNIV-HV ST54K (7 modules) fits; all three have the same charge and discharge current of 50 A / 50 A.

What is a 61 kWh high-voltage battery good for on large sites?

The ST61K is aimed at sites with a heavy load: production, farms with a lot of refrigeration, and sites that need a power reserve. Eight modules are the limit for one tower; beyond that the system is expanded by connecting towers in parallel.

Which inverters work with a high-voltage battery?

The ST61K connects to a hybrid inverter whose voltage range matches the battery, because high-voltage and low-voltage systems are not compatible with each other. The manufacturer’s compatibility list includes Solis, Deye, Pylontech, Growatt, GoodWe, Sofar, Victron, Solinteg and others, confirmed for the whole product line. If your inverter is another brand, we check compatibility before you order. The link to the inverter is CAN / RS485.

How long does a 61.44 kWh battery last?

At a 10 kW load the 57.75 kWh of usable capacity lasts about 6 hours, and at 15 kW about 4 hours. At a typical evening load of around 1 kW, the 61.44 kWh lasts about 61 hours; switching on an electric hob or a washing machine shortens that accordingly.

Home battery for solar panels: why store the surplus?

A solar PV system produces while you consume, and the battery moves the remainder into the evening and night. ESO (Lithuanian grid operator) states:

“Part of the surplus electricity generated can be stored in an energy storage device and used in the evening.”

Backup power, installation and what to know before buying

  • Backup power: the system works during a power cut if the inverter has a backup output and an automatic changeover; the inverter performs the switching.
  • Where to install: the enclosure is rated IP65, but the manufacturer specifies indoor installation (5–95 % relative humidity, non-condensing). Cooling is natural.
  • Weight: the tower weighs several hundred kg, so the floor must be solid and level.

We handle it for you. We select the equipment for your site, deliver anywhere in Lithuania, install and connect it. The consultation before purchase is free.

Frequently asked questions

How many kWh does the EASYWAY UNIV-HV ST61K have?

The EASYWAY UNIV-HV ST61K has 61.44 kWh of total and 57.75 kWh of usable capacity. One tower consists of 8 modules of 7.68 kWh and one control unit.

How long will the ST61K last in a power cut?

At a 10 kW load the EASYWAY UNIV-HV ST61K lasts about 6 hours, at 15 kW about 4 hours, and at an evening load of around 1 kW about 61 hours.

Which inverters is the ST61K compatible with?

The manufacturer’s list includes Solis, Deye, Pylontech, Growatt, GoodWe, Sofar, Victron, Solinteg and others, confirmed for the whole EASYWAY UNIV-HV line. Hybrid Energy checks inverters of other brands before you order.

Can the ST61K be used with a low-voltage inverter?

No. The ST61K is a high-voltage battery (nominal voltage 614.4 V DC), and high-voltage and low-voltage systems are not compatible with each other. It needs a hybrid inverter with a matching voltage range (537.6–691.2 V DC).

Does the ST61K work during a power cut?

Yes, if the inverter has a backup output and an automatic changeover. The battery stores the energy and the inverter does the switching.

How many cycles and how many years of warranty does the ST61K have?

The manufacturer states 6000 cycles to 80 % remaining capacity and a 10-year warranty for the ST61K. The warranty is valid when the battery is connected to the internet.

Can the ST61K be installed in an unheated garage?

It is not recommended: the manufacturer specifies indoor installation, and without heating charging is possible only from 0 °C. An unheated garage needs the version with built-in heating.

Is the ST61K safe?

The ST61K has a built-in aerosol fire suppression system and protection against overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit and overheating. Its certificates are CE, IEC 62619, UN38.3 and UL 1973 for the cells.

Can several ST61K towers be connected together?

Yes, several towers connect in parallel, and the inverter limits the total size of the system. Hybrid Energy checks the configuration before you order.

Who installs and connects the ST61K?

Hybrid Energy sizes the capacity to your evening consumption, delivers anywhere in Lithuania, installs the ST61K and connects it to the inverter.
