What is the difference between a hybrid inverter and a normal grid-tie inverter?
A hybrid inverter can not only feed surplus into the grid but also keep it for itself. ESO (Lithuanian grid operator) states:
“Part of the surplus electricity you generate can be stored in an energy storage system and used in the evening.”
