The SUN-25K-SG01HP3-EU-AM2 connects only to high-voltage lithium-ion batteries of 160–700 V, with a maximum charge and discharge current of 50 A each. The battery is matched through BMS communication over CAN or RS485, and the charging strategy adapts to the BMS. The inverter has one battery input. We choose the specific battery model and capacity to match your consumption.
How does a hybrid inverter with battery storage work?
A hybrid inverter can not only feed surplus into the grid but also keep it for itself. ESO (Lithuanian grid operator) states:
“Part of the surplus electricity you generate can be stored in an energy storage system and used in the evening.”
On the LCD you can set whether the battery or the grid has priority, choose the charging source (grid, solar or generator) and set 6 charge and discharge periods. Time of use mode and the Smart Load function are also available.
How do I size a 25 kW hybrid inverter, and can I connect units in parallel?
The model has 25 kW rated power, and if that is not enough, up to 10 inverters can be connected in parallel using a Master / Slave scheme. On the PV side the inverter has 2 MPPT inputs, each with 1 or 2 strings, a maximum input voltage of 1000 V and a start-up voltage of 180 V.

Backup power and generator connection
