The CAT Caterpillar DE110GC is a three-phase diesel generator with a standby rating of 110 kVA / 88 kW, 380-415 V, 50 Hz and 1,500 rpm. It is intended for backup power at production sites, warehouses, farms, construction sites and infrastructure, where work stops as soon as the electricity goes off. 110 kVA is a standby rating, not a continuous one.
The photo shows the DE65GC, a generator from the same GC series. We confirm the canopy type, dimensions, weight and configuration for the specific DE110GC before the order.

Diesel generator for production sites, warehouses and farms
- Production and warehouse sites, where a power cut stops work immediately
- Farms and construction sites
- Infrastructure sites that need backup power
Standby or continuous power: is the DE110GC suitable for 24/7 use?
110 kVA / 88 kW is a standby rating, so this figure cannot be used for continuous 24/7 operation: that needs a prime or continuous-rated unit. The ratings are given at a 0.8 power factor, which is why 110 kVA corresponds to 88 kW.
Before the order we assess your real base load, load peaks and the starting currents of electric motors, and if you need continuous duty we offer a suitable alternative.
Generator with ATS: do you need automatic start?
Yes, if you want the generator to start by itself: without ATS automation it does not start on its own. The ATS panel, cables, earthing and installation are not included and are quoted separately for your site.
Backup generator size: how to choose the power
We select the power from your continuous and peak load in kW, the largest electric motor and its starting method. It also matters whether automatic changeover between the grid and the generator is needed, and where the generator has to be delivered and installed.
We handle it for you. We select the equipment for your site, deliver anywhere in Lithuania, install and connect it.
What to know before you buy

Frequently asked questions
How many kW is the CAT DE110GC?
The CAT Caterpillar DE110GC has a standby rating of 110 kVA / 88 kW, because 110 kVA at a 0.8 power factor equals 88 kW.
Is the DE110GC suitable for continuous 24/7 use?
Not at this rating: 110 kVA / 88 kW is a standby rating. Continuous duty needs a prime or continuous-rated unit, so Hybrid Energy selects the right class for your actual load.
Does the DE110GC start by itself when the power goes off?
No, the DE110GC does not start on its own without ATS automation. The ATS panel is not included and is installed separately.
What are the voltage and frequency of the DE110GC?
The CAT Caterpillar DE110GC is a three-phase generator with a voltage of 380-415 V and a frequency of 50 Hz, running at 1,500 rpm.
What is not included with the DE110GC?
The ATS panel, cables, earthing and installation are not included.
How long will the DE110GC run on a full tank?
It depends on the load: running time depends on how many kW the generator actually delivers. Hybrid Energy confirms the fuel tank capacity and running time for the specific unit before the order.
What information is needed to choose a DE110GC?
We need your continuous and peak load in kW, the largest electric motor and its starting method, whether automatic changeover is needed, and where the generator has to be delivered and installed. Contact Hybrid Energy and we will select a solution.
What is the difference between standby and prime power?
Standby is the power for emergency operation when the grid fails, while prime is the power a unit can supply continuously. That is why the DE110GC rating of 110 kVA / 88 kW is not suitable for continuous duty.
Can I order a different CAT generator instead of the DE110GC?
Yes, other CAT models are available on request.
