The Deye Solar Pool Heat Pump DSPD1-ACDC-17R2 is the most powerful of the three hybrid AC/DC pool heat pumps in the series (11R2, 15R2 and 17R2): heating output 2.4–17.0 kW (air 27/24.3 °C, water 26 °C), COP 16.0–6.0, cooling output 2.1–7.8 kW. It is meant for a larger heating demand than the 15R2 covers, with the same maximum power input of 2.97 kW; in return it needs a higher water flow (4.6 m³/h) and is the loudest of the three at 43–54 dB(A). This heat pump uses R32, a fluorinated greenhouse gas. EU Regulation 2024/573 requires people who work with such equipment to be certified. As the regulation states (translated from the Lithuanian version):
“Natural persons carrying out the activities referred to in points (a), (b) and (c) of the first subparagraph of Article 10(1) shall be certified in accordance with Article 10.”
