The EOLO 2 kW (E2K_PLUS_3P_110V) is the middle EOLO model: 2 kW (2000 W) peak power, 1660 W rated power (almost twice the 890 W of the 1 kW model), 2.4 m/s start-up wind speed, noise below 40 dB. It has 3 blades (a 6-blade version is also available), and its three-phase AC output of up to 48 V suits 12, 24 and 48 V DC battery systems. Choose it if 890 W of rated power is too little and the 2.9 m/s start-up wind speed of the 3 kW model may be too high for your site.

The EOLO 2 kW is worth choosing when the 890 W rated power of the EOLO 1 kW is too little, and you do not need the 2200 W of the EOLO 3 kW or its 2.9 m/s start-up wind speed is too high. The start-up wind speed here is 2.4 m/s, 0.5 m/s higher than for the 1 kW model. Dimensions (120 × 120 × 190 cm), weight (32 kg), noise level (below 40 dB) and the 2-year warranty are the same for all four variants.
Small wind turbine for home: who is the EOLO 2 kW vertical turbine for?
- Households: to reduce electricity bills (grid-connected system)
- Off-grid systems: to store energy in batteries
- Business and industry: as an additional source of energy
The rated power of 1660 W and the start-up wind speed of 2.4 m/s lie between the values of the 1 kW (890 W; 1.9 m/s) and 3 kW (2200 W; 2.9 m/s) models.
Wind turbine for 12 V, 24 V or 48 V batteries: which voltage suits the EOLO 2 kW?
The EOLO 2 kW delivers three-phase AC of up to 48 V and is designed for 12, 24 or 48 V DC battery systems. Which battery voltage to choose depends on the whole system at your site, so we decide it together with the choice of controller and inverter.
How to connect a wind turbine: configurations
The EOLO 2 kW can be supplied in three configurations:
- PLUS: turbine M39 + generator M32 + rectifier M37 + mast M40 (130 cm)
- Independent (off-grid): PLUS + controller M46 + off-grid inverter M24; works with batteries without a grid connection
- Grid-connected: PLUS + controller M46 + grid inverter M34
If there is no grid or you do not want to use it, choose the off-grid configuration with batteries. The grid-connected configuration is meant for a system tied to the grid.
What wind does the mast have to withstand?
The Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service states:
The highest wind speed recorded in the history of observations in Lithuania was 40 m/s.
So when choosing, it matters not only at what wind the turbine starts working, but also how the mast is secured. The PLUS set includes a 130 cm mast, and we help you choose the mast height to suit your location.
We handle it for you. We select the equipment for your site, deliver anywhere in Lithuania, install and connect it. We help assess the location and the mast height. A consultation before purchase is free.
What to know before you buy
- Power: 2 kW peak, 1660 W rated. The energy you actually get depends on the wind conditions at your site.
- Permits: whether a permit is needed to put up a wind turbine depends on the power, mast height and plot. Tell us before ordering where you plan to install it, and we will find out what applies in your case.
