The manufacturer Dospel has placed the main emphasis on the device’s performance in Polish weather conditions, which means the turbine begins generating electricity at a mere 1.2 m/s wind speed.
For most other wind turbines on the market, power generation starts from 6 m/s, and their generators are not produced in Poland, so they have never been adapted to Polish wind conditions; they were tested mainly in Dutch and British climates, which differ greatly from Poland’s.
The Dospel Dragon 1500+ wind turbine, designed and manufactured 100 % in Poland by Dospel, a Polish ventilation-industry leader with 50 years of production experience.
A breakthrough design with the generator placed in the centre of the turbine gives perfect balance and shields the turbine’s core from the elements, maximally extending the life of the Dospel Dragon 1500+ (unattainable for importers or “manufacturers” assembling ready-made components sourced mainly from China).
Its unique generator construction allows series or parallel connection, enabling the turbine to reach maximum efficiency even in the lowest wind zones, in both OFF-GRID and ON-GRID systems.
INDUSTRUCTIBLE hot-dip galvanising at least 650 μm thick perfectly complements a photovoltaic system. PV panels in Poland average 15–20 % efficiency; with a hybrid system using vertical Dospel Dragon turbines, energy output rises by up to 60 %.
