The manufacturer, Dospel, focused primarily on the unit’s efficiency under Polish weather conditions, meaning the turbine starts generating electricity at a mere 1.2 m/s wind speed.
For other wind turbines on the market, power generation usually begins at 6 m/s, and their generators are not produced in Poland and therefore have never been adapted to Polish wind conditions, since they were tested in, among others, Dutch and British environments that differ significantly from Polish conditions.
The Dospel Dragon 1000 + wind turbine was designed and manufactured 100 % in Poland by Dospel, a Polish ventilation-industry leader with 50 years of production experience.
A breakthrough design with the generator placed in the turbine centre ensures perfect balance and protects the heart of the turbine from weather impact, maximally extending the service life of the Dospel Dragon 1000 + (unattainable for importers or “producers” assembling ready-made parts sourced mainly from China).
Thanks to its unique generator design, the turbine can be connected in series or in parallel, allowing it to achieve maximum efficiency even in the lowest wind zones, whether in an OFF-GRID or ON-GRID setup.
INDESTRUCTIBLE hot-dip galvanising with a minimum thickness of 650 µm serves as the perfect complement to a photovoltaic system. PV panel efficiency in Poland is 15–20 %. A hybrid setup using Dospel Dragon vertical wind turbines boosts electricity production by up to 60 %.
