The manufacturer Dospel placed primary emphasis on the unit’s efficiency in Polish weather conditions, meaning that the turbine starts generating electricity at a mere 1.2 m/s wind speed.
For other wind turbines available on the market, power generation starts from 6 m/s, and the generators in those turbines are not produced in Poland and therefore have never been adapted to Polish wind conditions, as they were tested mainly in Dutch and British climates that differ significantly from Polish conditions.
The Dospel Dragon 1000+ wind turbine was designed and manufactured 100 % in Poland by Dospel, a Polish producer and ventilation-industry leader with 50 years of experience.
A breakthrough design with the generator positioned in the turbine’s centre ensures perfect balance and protects the turbine’s core from the elements, maximally extending the service life of the Dospel Dragon 1000+ (unachievable for importers or “manufacturers” assembling ready-made components imported, for example, from China).
The unique generator design allows connection in series or in parallel, enabling the turbine to achieve maximum efficiency even in the lowest wind-speed zones in both OFF GRID and ON GRID systems.
INDESTRUCTIBLE hot-dip galvanising at min. 650 µm makes an ideal complement to a photovoltaic system. Photovoltaic panel efficiency in Poland is 15–20 %. Using a hybrid installation with vertical Dospel Dragon wind turbines, electricity-production efficiency increases by up to 60 %.
